Fall Guys Collector's Edition Mediatonic has released a large mid-season update for Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout which brings new round variations and anti-cheater implementations.

While Mediatonic isn't sharing exact specifics players can expect new obstacles and challenges thrown into the existing game modes though these tweaks won't always be triggered so you'll have to be on your guard. Meanwhile Big Yeetus described as a large hammer obstacle is also making its way into the game with this patch. There's also a few small improvements that meant to provide a smoother gameplay experience.

Out of all the new features the randomised mix-up in level design is set to be the biggest offering new ways to tackle familiar levels. Random rotations will add numerous new obstacles such as spinning contraptions and tumbling fruit to ensure consistent level variation. Reliable door patterns in modes such as ‘Gate Crash’ will also have new alternate routes.

Fall Guys’ second season is coming this October. It takes on a medieval theme “with feudal fortresses knockout knights and pugilistic paladins,” Mediatonic says. The studio previewed the new season in a short video at the end of August.
