I believe everyone reading this piece of article would agree that slider feature in NHL17 has been a great integration, in fact for me it is one of the most incredible and fascinating features that NHL ever came up in recent years. But what now, there does not seem an end to our wishes. Fans really appreciated that slider feature and they want to see more of it in the upcoming games too. NHL 18 Slider Features Wishlist:
1. The one of the most important concern for the slider would be regarding the functionality of CPU. So, what if our CPU comes with poke check frequency, stick lift frequency, body check frequency. For more competition and interesting fight with defenders developers can also work on defender slap shot frequency, defender wrist shot frequency, forward slap shot frequency, forward wrist shot frequency that too with CPU under pressure dumping in offensive/neutral/defensive zone.
2. For goalies the sliders can come up with such features that would allow them convenience in their game and make their role even more remarkable. Let us have a check what those slider feature can be -attribute bonus, open shot bonus with a breakaway slider to make easy defending the goals and with glove hand and butterfly blocker working on with it. Goalie’s screen should also be persistence left to the discretion of the players that how often they would like to focus the goal since teammates standing in the vicinity of the net and still not screening the goal should not be the case.
3. Expand the attribute features for two different categories one for defensive awareness and another for offensive awareness so that the puck friction works on properly since there has been a lot of time when soft passes will just glide on for an icing and the puck doesn’t lose speed in a fast enough manner for me and this should not be the way it functions. Also, we can customize Goal tenders interference into the slider to negotiate the game as per their choice.
4. The CPU teams should be provide with an option of “build the ai” to work on whenever they feel any such need. The slider can also do some changes with CPU and HUMAN features to make it convenient for the players while dealing with AI. The features that need to be updated in the CPU and HUMAN are wrist shot power; wrist shot accuracy, one timer power and one timer accuracy.
5. Last but not the least, there we can have an interesting feature added to the CPU deking frequency and that is changing the puck over frequency in case an opponent threatens the goalie there will be a direct face off among the two. It needs to be done because this way CPU will get reward for pressuring a goalie to cover a puck and for all this we need a whistle speed slider that will blow off as soon there is puck cover for the goalie.
NHL 18 Release Date:
Predicting release of NHL 18 game is very easy since EA has been following a pattern of releasing a new version of the game in series. Every year new game releases in September month with lots of new features, so it very much expected NHL 18 will be released in September 2017. The announcement of the game is expected to happen at E3 2017 which begins on June 16, 2017.
