Well I certainly didn’t see last week going the way it did. The San Francisco 49ers beat the New York Giants handily. It was less on stellar play and more on the Giants just quitting on the game but I’ll take it. The team will take it. The world will take that win. This week isn’t so easy. It’s the Seattle Seahawks a team not too happy with their loss against Atlanta last week (although that was pretty awesome). The good news is their injury report is a mile long similar to that of the 49ers.

Which isn’t what you expect on a Seattle defense against a San Francisco offensive line. Interceptions were small as well with only one happening per game.
C.J. Beathard comes back to earth

The great play the 49ers quarterback had against the New York Giants wasn’t replicated. Beathard averaged 164 yards and a 44 percent completion percentage. Numbers that will make Jimmy Garoppolo grin with glee. While he threw few interceptions the numbers are not inspiring arguments to keep Beathard as the starter.

Carlos Hyde gets no respect
The 49ers running back still cannot crack 100 yards average in our simulations. This week he averages a cool 68 yards and only managed a single touchdown out of all three of the games. Hyde was also the leading rusher for the 49ers. Given that he broke out a couple nice runs in Seattle earlier this season this is a bit strange. Regardless Hyde doesn’t seem positioned for a strong day.

On the flipside the Seahawks rushing attack was somewhat decent with Thomas Rawls getting 100.5 yards a game. Behind Rawls Wilson averaged 47 yards rushing.

Final Score: 29-13 Seattle
Definitely one of the more believable scores. The 49ers are on the rise and having a lot of success this season despite not winning games. The Seattle Seahawks have their own issues but it’s still an infinitely better roster at this very moment. I don’t see how the 49ers win this game but if they do it certainly means they are on the right track. If they can keep it within 10 know something on this team is working.
