Before I start, let me say that this is a thread to provide contructive criticism to the game dev's. I have no intention of simply complaining for no reason. If there is a place I would assume where talking about these issues would be accepted I would guess it would be on the blizzard forums.
I have played wow since vanilla. And I usually play in cycles. I have noticed a lot of the attempts to balance the games and add new mechanics. And I think there are a few big problems with catacylsm that need to be adressed. And I think it is the reason why everyone is leaving, and why I most likely will be taking a extended break if not leaving the game.
1.) For starts. All pvp under 80-85 or just 85. Is simply broken. And I think most people can see this. Not even taking into account the affect of BOA's. Class balances for 85's have not and do not trickle down to the lower levels. Classes like warriors are simply helpless until 85. While classes like Frost mages/priest/all healers. Have shields that can sustain just as mutch damege as they can. ( Doubling their health, and easily recast ). While in 85 pvp this is meant to be around 15% of the HP. Heals, of all classes, are simply off the charts plenty of heals can heal entire health bars to full health, with a 1-2 second cast. It really seems like blizzard has given up, or just is not trying on this front. I am a firm believer that level 19,29,39,49,etc PVP should be taken into account. And balanced accordingly. And that is simply not happening. Everyone knows Hunters dominate 10-40. And even further on in some cases. And you may think " well ya, the game mechanics require it to be that way ". Well no. It was not the case in vanilla, and it doen't have to stay that way in cataclysm.
